Re: How many '60 and '61 "Ugly Snout" trucks survive?
Here’s my new to me 61 Apache 30. As much as I hate to lose the patina I do not like these hoods. I plan to change to 62-66 hood.

Re: How many '60 and '61 "Ugly Snout" trucks survive?
My Grandfather had a '60 when I was a kid. I always had a thing for old Chevy trucks but honestly didn't care for the 60-61 hood. Well, when I turned 16, guess what my Dad got me???!? Yep, a beat up '61. It grew on me very quickly, hood and all. I lost the '61 in an accident but found this '60 shortly thereafter. I gotta have the hood...

Re: How many '60 and '61 "Ugly Snout" trucks survive?
My 61 K20 when I drug it home. Currently it's in pieces all over the place but all the rust is finally gone. I've got some minor body work to do yet and hopefully get it painted this summer. Hoping to get the 348 rebuilt over the winter yet as well

Re: How many '60 and '61 "Ugly Snout" trucks survive?
Here's a few of mine.
1. 60 Custom Suburban: Basically a parts truck, really rusty, prob part it out some day. 2. 61 Custom Suburban: Originally 283 w/Powerglide, great body, ONLY rust is bottom of front fenders. 3. 60 Shrt Flt Apache Custom: 6 cyl, 3 speed, runs & drives, orig paint, all Custom Trim, rusty, could use cab swap. not sure where I'm going with it yet, may part out later.
