Re: Need advice: LS ENGINE SWAP
did you get a harness with your engine? if so i have a guy that does a good job with harnesses, as far as the fuel system, the kit was awesome, a lot of extra parts after done with it, but you still have to buy other things...i but some hard lines...just to make it easier and straight cut looking, I'm pretty sure the kit is in my thread somewhere, if not ill find it for you, what you mean by home plate? finally done?

I copied this from an LS1tech post posted by Brenden from LT1swap.com The fuel pressure specs are straight out of GM Service Information online service manuals. "1999-2003 4.8, 5.3, 6.0 all had a fuel rail with 3/8" supply line and a 5/16" return line. The fuel pressure regulator is on the fuel rail, and has a vacuum line to the intake manifold. In 2004, All engines went to a single 3/8" supply line, with NO RETURN LINE (returnless) except 5.3L L59 Flex Fuel vehicles. For 2004, Flex fuel engines KEPT the return line, BUT used a fuel pressure regulator with a lower pressure ratting. 2005 5.3L L59 Flex Fuel engines switched to a single 3/8" supply with NO RETURN line in 2005. Non flex fuel engines, fuel pressure spec is 55 to 62 psi with vacuum line disconnected, fuel pump running. 5.3L Flex Fuel engine 2004 and back, 48-54 psi with vacuum line disconnected, fuel pump running. 2005+ with returnless fuel rail all shared same fuel pressure spec, 55-62 psi. There is no vacuum reference on these, so fuel pressure should remain constant under all operating conditions. The computer is programmed differently for fuel flow rate depending on type of fuel rail. This is important to know when having a PCM programmed."

Re: Need advice: LS ENGINE SWAP
The only problem with these guys is its really hard to contact him by phone seems like emails are his best contact route...but I love his harnesses seems like he has a great product and was also recommended by BR3.

Re: Need advice: LS ENGINE SWAP
I think he uses email to screen out the free-information diggers lol. When I had my order in, he included a phone number on the reciept to the shop, and I was able to get him on the phone. Its just a couple of guys in a warehouse full of wire and injectors.

Re: Need advice: LS ENGINE SWAP
The harness portion is about $450-600 of that, depending on how its setup. For that money, the guys at FuelInjectionConnection make a damn nice harness, thats very easy to install.
I don't know about their tuning, but I assume he's supplying you an ECU for the price? When you break it down, 860 -125(cost of buying an ecm) =735 -125 (tune) =610 -550(harness) = ~60 shipping/tax/misc If you figure thats all estimates, but if it works out. If any of yall are in the upper midwest, I can get ur stuff tuned locally for cheaper (but then I own your soul, so its a give/take)

Re: Need advice: LS ENGINE SWAP
Can someone guide me to where I can get a gas tank ? I want to remove the inside gas tank to an under bed tank. I read somewhere that a blazer gas tank would work ? what else ? I would like to go new but dont want to spend a fortune...thanks in advance
