He still is. Daisy is no wimp!
I just updated my status. I think I'm supposed to let everyone know when that happens. My new status is getting to where I'm wondering what to eat tonight mode.

Re: My Facetruck thread.
Daisy the truck kinda reminds me of...... I guess I never named it. Ok, Medium Olive '71 K/20
Except Medium Olive '71 K/20 was uglier. But sure was a great truck for me. And fun?? Sheesh! Dumb question.

Re: My Facetruck thread.
Last year I replaced all the windows in my house with those expensive,double-pane, energy-efficient kind.
Today, I got a call from Home Depot who installed them. The caller complained that the work had been completed a year ago and I still hadn't paid for them. So, I told him just what his sales guy told me last year--that these windows would pay for themselves in a year--- *

Re: My Facetruck thread.
One thing I recently learned from Home Depot is their invitation for a satisfaction survey is a joke .I recently had a garage door replaced using Home Depot even though I knew better .It was a Cluster #l#ck from the beginning ,The Depot could not get my correct phone number to their contractor costing me 3 weeks on the installation schedule .Never again , So they emailed me a survey and because I gave them bad grades they rejected my survey .

Re: My Facetruck thread.
Speaking of happy happy joy joy...
We got slammed yesterday: We generally don't get a lot of snow, we are in a little bit of a rain-shadow for the normal storms, but when they come in from the south, watch out-that's the south side of the tree the snow is stuck to: We ended up with about a foot altogether, and more coming tonight they say.

Re: My Facetruck thread.
We need to take that last question about the paved roads off our form since Arkansas has 6 times the paved roads per capita that California does.

My kids bought land in a very nice neighborhood outside town. WE were out there one weekend laying out the house, shop, driveway, etc. As we were leaving we met the neighbors and the lady asked if we were about to start building. I said, "Yeah, they are going to deliver the house this week.". I went on nonchalantly with conversation and never mentioned it again. Another neighbor told me later she told him what I said and she said "Do you think that man is serious?" Apparently I scared her.

Re: My Facetruck thread.
When southern Florida resident Nathan Radlich's house was burglarized recently, thieves ignored his wide screen plasma TV, his VCR, and even left his Rolex watch.
What they did take, however, was a white box filled with a grayish-white powder.. (That's the way the police report described it.) A spokesman for the Fort Lauderdale police said that it looked similar to high grade cocaine and they'd probably thought they'd hit the big time. Later, Nathan stood in front of numerous TV cameras and pleaded with the burglars:*'Please return the cremated remains of my sister, Gertrude. She died three years ago.' The next morning, the bullet-riddled corpse of a local drug dealer known as Hoochie Pevens was found on Nathan's doorstep. The white box was there too; about half of Gertrude's ashes remained. Scotch taped to the box was this note which said: "Hoochie sold us the bogus blow so we wasted Hoochie. Sorry we snorted your sister. No hard feelings. Have a nice day." *
