Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds
Here's my old 81 stepside.
Once I finish up my current project I'm going to try and locate a clean starting point and do another. This time i'll finish it w/ C4 front and rear suspension and a nose dive inducing big block. cold a/c, power steering and enough power to run down anything at anytime or cruise w/ the 700r4 |

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds
Thanks, its 57 chevy turquoise. PPG called it Aerospace blue.
Daily drove it for about 6 yrs taking it to car shows on and off (2nd place super chevy show 1998) and then slowly made it into a play toy. It was originally a 250 6 banger w/ a th350. that gave up the ghost around 250k miles and went through 3 engine combos as time & funds allowed. I've got some video of the truck running somewhere, it was a screamer pulled well past 6500. DJM drop spindles i think they were 3" and 2" or 3" drop springs, shackles, hangers and a removed leaf on the rear. |

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds
Very nice .......indeed. I'm partial to step truck as I recently picked up a 89K survivor. Needs a drop, some taller skins & an upgraded seat.
When I finally srink up the pix I'll post them up. ratty 46 |

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds
Here's the shortbed I just picked up
It's my first shortbed and the reason I found this forum. I'll be posting lots of questions as I figure out how to sort this mess of a truck out. Thanks! Clem |

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds
Those 2 trucks were exactly what I was talking about, can't find pics of them anymore since the new Hills website was updated. If you can find some of the Red CrewCab that would be awesome!
