Ricky,
Thats not called attention to detail... that's called being anal Just kidding I had no idea about that. I learned something today !!!

Re: slik ricks 67 short wide CST

They pushed me in then Tyler pulled me out and I didnt care weather or not they knew it was getting pulled or not. I was probably the one that took the most effort to get my truck there! Yeah they kept talking to me and Tyler kept pulling so I almost hit the tent, but thanks to Rene I was didn hit it with my brand new chrome bumper!

i know i know. if it can just turn off by the key and if i had a driveline we would be set.

i need to get the new cab before i register it and make it legal to drive. i need another battery this one is toast..... and i think i fixed the power steering for good so if it can turn on again tommorrow then i will see. i brought out the grinder with braided wire wheel and sanded away on the painted rotors got them to bare metal where the pads make contact. now my brakes are really really really good! so good that when we tried to pull my truck while i pushed the brakes all the way down it bent the crossmember in front of the engine crossmember :censor ed: so i am ver y pissed and happy at the same time... its not that bad my frame was in a frontend crash before and that same crossmember got bent and bolted back in so now i will get another one primer and paint one all nice along with repainting where brake fluid spilled on the a-arms and took off paint, so when the frontend comes off for the new cab the front of the frame will get alot of attention.

Re: slik ricks 67 short wide CST

yeah i want to be able to storage this cab that i have fro free with the government not knowin i have it, just like i have been doing since june 2009. then the new cab which is a factory 2wd 1/2 ton swb truck instead of a 2wd 3/4 ton lwb truck like what i have. so i cant get it road worthy till i have the ne cab on the frame. and even then i need to do alignment exhaust (which i found out, its going to be 155.80) then brake and lamp inspection.... and somewhere in between there the frame needs to get some touch up i need a battery and driveline. then im road worthy.

Your current cab cant be THAT bad.

Just drive the 67 and build another in spare time ?

i dont have money for a second. just this one (barely) so i will have a cab for a second truck but the government wont know about it and it wont cost me anything. the cab i have inst THAT bad but its bad comared to what i can get. the new cab doesnt need any rust repair. just holes that were drilled to be filled.
