Re: project (sweet pea)
Well got the passenger side Cab Corner pretty much handled yesterday....What a PITA..........It was not to bad but took a lot of time letting everything cool -tack cool tack....to prevent warping ..None the less i just have to do some finish grinding and its ready for some mudd.........All of the welding is done on the rear floor support, and rocker...just need to do put some seam sealer on the bottom side of the floor. and inner jam...then do the bed liner material as i did on the driver side.....inside - underneath......

Re: project (sweet pea)
After a long day......And not so easy....I got the bed moved back to the shop.....Not an easy job for one guy...But i managed...None the less some have been asking where or what shape my bed is in...So here goes....After a Hit and Run a few years ago....My original bed was destroyed. So at the time i worked at a Chevrolet Dealership . And there where some 98 take offs out back...and for 100.00 bucks i bought one and made it work the best i could.....I ran that for about 3-4 years..And then i found the current bed i got off a 71.....at the time the price was right, although after media blasting i found that a tree had fallen on to it.....So needless to say .it needed a little work......While cutting the driver side bed side out/ re- welding it back in....i got the idea to shave everything but the lights...Then i edged it in red...and drove it like that till the frame off.....So at this point it just needs a final blocking...Re edged to the current color and i am good.......I am going to mock it up some time next week for body lines and shim if needed ...then paint when i spray the whole truck......Well enough of the Novel i just wrote........here are some pics........I am going to change the lights ...thinking of making (or trying ) to make some custom L.E.Ds..................tony
