Re: Project " Melting Pot"

It might be just me,... but your truck is so clean,... I wouldn't install the billet grille.
They clutter up the clean lines of the 67-68 grille.

Re: Project " Melting Pot"

Cleaner without IMHO...if you can get the top lined up and then paint it satin black so it kind of fills the gap but doesn't stand out....that might be a cool look...

Re: Project " Melting Pot"

haven't really done much on my build in the last week and a half . every time i install something i change my mind . installed a steering wheel and some pulleys and worked on my cluster .now thinking of a chrome steering column and selling my tilt . ordered my headers from summit h8013-1 shorty style for bb . will send picks when installed and then i'll start looking for a radiator .

Nice looking truck! I am with the other guys I like the clean lines of the 67-68 front grille. If you decide to sell your tilt let me know we are practically neighbors.

Re: Project " Melting Pot"

finally got my headers in today and started to install them . one side fits good the other needs a little work on the frame , really not a big deal . took out the inner fenders to have smoothed out and repainted . from the paint job , paint dust is on every thing so its a good time to clean up

trimmed the frame back a hair and took a closeup so you could see how it looks. still might need to trim it back just to be safe .
