Re: Newtz '67 swb
By moving your mounts back an inch did you have to change the trans mount and drive shaft?

Re: Newtz '67 swb
Sorry Chris, I just saw your post. Yes they will work, I only moved them back to get more clearance between my headers and A arms.

Re: Newtz '67 swb
So I'm having some issues with tire size. I'm fine with the back tires, But the fronts are entirely too small. Seems like my whole truck needs to be lowered more. If I go with any more rake I don't think it will look right. The easiest thing seems to be to change the front tires closer to the size that are on the old wheels. And yes I will be repainting the rallyes.

Re: Newtz '67 swb
i'd go with a bigger tire, and why repaint them, blue and lime green go great together!

Re: Newtz '67 swb
Nice! Yea I'd go with a taller tire. What color are you planning on painting the wheels? Here's a link that someone sent me a while back that I found very helpful. http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html

Re: Newtz '67 swb
I got the tires off the rims and bought paint. I'm going with duplicolor aluminum. It may be darker than I want. I'll see, then decide from there. Thanks David, for that calculator, pretty cool!

Re: Newtz '67 swb
Well here they are. Pretty happy with the color. I was mistaken though, it's Krylon aluminum over white primer.

Re: Newtz '67 swb
Here's my buddies truck that the wheels and tires came off of. They seem to fit quite well for him. Apparently his truck is lower than I thought.

Re: Newtz '67 swb
Got the tires remounted on the rallyes and got them on the truck! Much better! Just like the good old days! BTW, I bought some used tires for the front. So the backs are 305/50/15 and the fronts are 245/60/15.
