Dude! I like the way your truck has come so far.
Really nice fab work.

The Concept looks nice.... but not my style. sorry.
I think if you want 90's simplicity then do a 90s truck.
But what do I know.

Just my $.02

Look forward to seeing how it turns out.

Its how they built hotrods in the 90's that I'm a product of, not manufactured cars in the 90's. Clean and contemporary. Not todays radical and gaudy.

Yeah, I get what you mean. But weather your designing hot rods or general cars you are still influenced by the same things. It was the 90's, I know I was there. Hot rodders just exaggerate them.

Make the stock grille sleek and simple.
Not doggin' just my opinion.

Re: In the beginning there was a 69 party (eyebrows up)

I'm new to the site and very glad I found it! To be honest I've avoided looking at them for years. I took my 71 swb COMPLETELY apart about 15 years ago, got a 4/6 drop kit, tubbed the bed and STILL have the all roller 350 on the stand! Then life kicked me square in the plums and the the truck is still in a million pieces. It will probably a few years before things are squared away enough to resume my project. I've looked at a ton of photos here but yours is the first build I've looked at. You are truly an inspiration bro. I appreciate not just your vision for your ride, hard work and eye for detail but the trouble you go to documenting the build to give insight and inspiration to yuk yuks like me. Extremely good job so far and look forward to seeing the continued project. P.S. Holy S#@! do you have patience! How many times did you answer the tire/wheel question No offense to the others just found it funny as hell after a while. They do look great though. I have even older school rims (but I did start 15 years ago. 8x15 fronts, 12x15 rear (7 1/2 inset) Weld Drag Stars.

How do you like the seat. I have been looking at them for a while. I am still a long way from geting a seat but by the time I get a bucket buddy and Refinish it $1000.00 for that one dosn't sound bad. did it come from discount van and truck.
Thanks
Lee

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

Re: In the beginning there was a 69 party (eyebrows up)

The weather is finally below 100F so I'm starting back. Removed the front clip Sat in prep of replacing the rocker panels... Drilled out the spot welds and removed the Drivers side rocker to find that there is nothing to spot back to on the front. It's all rusted away.
