Re: 35 Years In The Making!
Yea I just think I would feel odd with it on a trailer. And to get it inside the cruise area I would have to be down there early. I would have to see if I can get the day off.

Re: 35 Years In The Making!
Mr.G it could be a little testy with a trailer down there. But I think people would just flip over seeing your truck even if it's not finished, provided you can get time off to do it would be so cool. Hey thanks for letting Darren and I look it over I know he really appreciated getting ideas and a close look on how you set things up on your truck. Keep on truckin as they say...Vernski

Re: 35 Years In The Making!
Thanks Vernski no prob. I have about half the house paint done. The rain has put a stop to that. But few more projects and I will be back on the truck.

Re: 35 Years In The Making!
When I looked at the chamber of commerce there were no Phone # to contact whoever is in charge of Car d lane but it was posted at $30. That's not going to break my bank but I and the wife thought that was excessive for letting them look at my truck. So sorry to say the price chased us off and we decided to go out to dinner instead and that's why we won't be attending the Car d expensive..Vernski

Re: 35 Years In The Making!
Casey has his Droped Spindels and I put Stock springs back in. Now I will Cut the coils to get the correct stance. When I installed the 3 inch drop spindels that made it too low for the springs I had. I had droped lower control Arms and they were only 2.5 inch drop. The spindels now are Bel tech 3 inch drop. Hope to have the springs cut by late Sat. Painting the house this weekend and the weather needs to improve.

Re: 35 Years In The Making!

Re: 35 Years In The Making!
Well that did not work out very well. My tire and rim dia is just too small. Puts the crossmember way too low to the ground. Well maybe I will just call Porterbuilt and just bag the the front. I think that is the only option with out getting larger dia rims. I bought these tires and rims in 2005 and they have never been passed the driveway.

Re: 35 Years In The Making!
So you just have the 3" spindles, and cut or stock springs?
What about a taller tire?
