Re: How To: Ruin a Perfectly Good K/5
Headed to England! Fairly unexpected and short-notice, but that's the life... Would like to bring one of the trucks with, but it's not making a whole lot of sense to use either as a primary family vehicle, especially considering the price of petrol over there. Still tossing around selling/storing one or both. My wife wants to keep the pickup and I agree, if I had to chose one, that's the one with more sentimental attachment. Gonna try to get this beast back driving this weekend--wish me luck figuring out how to reassemble the puzzle

Good luck with the move. I'm going to miss the build thread. You'll have to build a Citron while in England.

Re: How To: Ruin a Perfectly Good K/5
Spent the afternoon 'accessorizing'. Factory routing plug wires is a PITA. So are heat shields. I think customizing is easier than restoration. Sun went down, it got cold, my driveway isn't heated More tomorrow...

Re: How To: Ruin a Perfectly Good K/5
Getting there. Should have it running tomorrow pending me figuring out the compressor bracket puzzle Probably would have finished today if not for taking a few hours to replace an accumulator seal on the trans and the steering shaft seal on the steering box. This thing is now clean and dry underneath, and I want it to stay that way...

Re: How To: Ruin a Perfectly Good K/5
Oh, IT LIVES! Notice in the pic the alternator fan is blurry 'cause it's spinning. Still need to tweak the timing and idle settings, but for just WAG-ing it, she runs perty good.

Re: How To: Ruin a Perfectly Good K/5
Can ship one on their dime. Another would be up to us. Tossing around a few different plans--may sell hers and pick up something for her over there. I'm concerned about being able to maintain the Blazer in Europe due to parts availability, not to mention the size of parking spots. Would be cool to have the only one on the island though...
