Truck looks awesome and some quality fab work.

Might want to re-think the location/angle of the waste gates. That's a big angle for the exhaust to flow when the gates open.

Just want to thank everyone for all the compliments and apologize for the lack of updates. The truck is back at my shop but I'm trying to finish up a few other smaller projects so I can stay focused on the truck this winter. Now that the gallery is back up I thought I'd finish posting the pics I already had loaded.

Giving everything a quick coat of spraybomb until we powdercoat:

Hi everybody. It's about time to get this thread updated and make some progress on Jeremy's truck. I'll be adding more photos over the next couple weeks to get everyone caught up.

Thanks lowlife, I'm not too far away and although I don't travel to Gainesville often, this might just be a trip I have to make to see this thing in person. I like the truck and it looks like Chris and the guys at chicken city have you in good hands.

Checked a few things off the to-do list.....

Used another set of welderseries.com frame curves to make a crossmember to box in the rear of the frame where the gas tank will go:



Set it in place to check for fit. It will get welded and blended once we determine the tank size:





Shaved the filler neck hole:



Also had some previous collision damage. Gotta love the old screw in dent puller holes:

Rust repair has begun on the cab. Here's what we started with on the driver's side:

Floor, toe board, and kick panel:







Kick panel @ floor from the outside:



Toe board @ floor from the outside:



Front cab brace:



Rear cab brace:



Rear cab brace and cab corner:



Previously replaced rocker came off easy since it was only brazed in a few spots:



Guess they felt no need to repair any rust before they put a new rocker on:
(For some reason this pic loaded backwards???)



Rear door jamb:

Trimmed and ready to start fitting new metal. Cab braces will get replaced too:
