Re: 1953 Burb build
Looking great. I like the color contrast of the 2 tone with the flames. 45 days huh? I think you can do it.

Re: 1953 Burb build
Have you ever hit a wall and then just stop? I am almost at that point. I spent 33 hours over the last 3 days wet sanding and buffing. Now I have a few more weeks to assemble, wire, etc. . I just running out of steam. Busy at work and now the Burb is feeling more like wotk than fun

Re: 1953 Burb build
You are doing great Iceburgh. A couple days away might be a good time investment toward hitting your date goal. Any helpers available?

Re: 1953 Burb build
Yes, taking a few a few days off of it might bring the fun back. Isn't that the reason why we mess these old trucks. Don't stress yourself out too much hitting your deadline. You can always move your deadline.
It is really looking good. Marc

Re: 1953 Burb build
Yes I should just take a few days away.
Way way way to much going on at work right now. Some of you might know that I do consulting work for Meguiars during show season that is now upon us, in addition I operate warehouses as a full time gig. I currently have 2 in Pa. and 1 in N.C. all are about 650k square feet each, but we are building a massive 1.7mm sqft that is scheduled to open in mid summer. Trying to line up all vendors and hire 200 people is very challenging to say the least. Thanks for the words guys |

Re: 1953 Burb build
Wow, you have A lot going on. Interesting career day jobs! You have to be a very good time / people manager. I like Marc's advice about possibly moving the deadline. Just a thought to keep it fun.

Re: 1953 Burb build
Been back at it the last few days....getting much closer. Best part is the motor fired up. Smoked a few wires spent 3 days chasing down wiring gremlins from the PCM that came with the motor.
All set now. https://youtu.be/DG8NoB8mY38 |
