Think of the money and time saved not doing huge amounts of rust repair. But Nothing in California is cheap. If I hadn't had my truck for for 45 years I couldn't afford it

Probably someone who has watched too many Barrett Jackson reruns with no idea that a truck that sells for 50 K in the auction probably cost 75K to build three years earlier.

But it is a lot easier to start way high and hope than it is to start too low and find out that you sold too cheap. When he turns down a lot of 6 to 7 K offers because "it's worth more" he may finally come to the realization that he is too high unless he finds that over paid dude that just flat has to have one of those burbs right now no matter what the price is.

The running boards look pretty natural like that. It might be like the fender trim on a 57, some like it better reversed.

I've also seen people who flip the rear fenders on the AD trucks.

Window air? The gas in my truck lasts a long time too since I don't drive it much these days...

I think he must have been referring to the kick panel vents as a/c. It's a nice looking truck but not for $45K.
