I doubt it. I have too many things to do to it. I want to realign some things. I'm a bit of a perfectionist sometimes. If all these things go quickly maybe but seriously doubt it.

Re: Chucks SWB Fleetside

Hi Chuck,

Everything is looking great. Kirby did a fabulous job on the paint work. I wish mine was even close to looking that nice.

I am going to try and get over to work on the Project Underhaulin with Rus in late June or early July. I hope I can meet you then, if timing is right

Always look forward to see what happens next on your build threads. Let me know if you need anything for the clusters. I have a rather large inventory of parts now.

Take care,
Tom

Thanks Tom. I have a cluster for this truck but I'll need one for the Lolita later.

Re: Chucks SWB Fleetside

I put the door handles and lock pulls on. I trimmed the gaskets as they were too big and stuck out all around the handle like crazy. Looks much better now.

I also put the trim on the rear. I have put aftermarket trim on tailgates before but I have never seen such poor quality trim before. Everywhere the trim clips are there is a small dent from the clip. and the side pieces don't slide onto the center handle like they're supposed to. I'll order new trim from another vendor and see if its better. But later.

ARGH!

The truck looks great.

I have a pair of NOS tail light trim that is the full one not just the L style.

Re: Chucks SWB Fleetside

Saturday started out good. My buddy Josh (blue71) came over and helped me get the front clip lined back up the way its supposed to be. He is a master at it. It looks so much better now. Thanks Josh!! I started putting some things on the truck after he left and didn't stop till just a few minutes ago. Its like 4:30 AM. I put the side trim, grille trim, inner fenders, trim above the door panels, the escutcheons that go on the door panels for the handles. Tomorrow I hope to get the front turn signals and bumper on. Maybe the rear too.

Re: Chucks SWB Fleetside

Love all the trim, too bad about the aftermarket pieces. Did you buy them from Mar-K? I hear they have the best quality.

Your truck is so nice! Congrats on getting to this point. I can't wait to be that far along.
