Re: Boyd Welding-67-72 Rear Mount Aluminum Tank

any of you guys using the efi Walbro GSS-342HP pump setup that comes with the efi version with a 6.0? is it adequate?I dont really plan on doin too much to this motor maybe a cam and intake swap... just trying to see if I need to order the efi tank with the fuel pump installed or get one setup to go with my own pump.T.I.A!

Nevermind did some research online and it is fine.

Re: Boyd Welding-67-72 Rear Mount Aluminum Tank

I use a Pierburg pump, I wont change my pump setup when I get my tank made. I would if I was going to buy a tank AND a pump anyway tho.

quick question what if I wanted the efi Tank WITHOUT the pump what would the price be?...my buddy has a Walbro GSS-342HP pump and said I can have it... he upgraded because he supercharged his car.also all I would hafta do is put his pump in right wouldnt need to purchase anything else because everything else is included i.e. sender etc.

Looks like he's shipping for a flat rate of $39 included in the price.

How do the bed fills work with a wood floor? I just don't want it to end up right next to a cross sill.

I'm ready to order too but have the same question as SWB4X4. Can the EFI version be ordered without the $250 pump? Is that the only difference?

Thanks for the Heads up. everything is operational now. There was a problem with there not being a shipping charge you will notice that the website will charge .01 cent for shipping.

Yes and no. It is not just the pump that makes up the 250.00 charge the pump itself is only 130.00 or so the rest of that is our brackets, hardware and labor to produce the EFI System.

If you already have a Pump you would like to use send it to me and i will be more than happy to adapt that to your tank.

You can always buy a non EFI tank and make your own EFI system if you have the capabilities. Either way your getting a Great deal.

As far as I am aware the location of the filler should place it in the middle of a board. I would spend a few minutes and check for yourself just to be sure.

Re: Boyd Welding-67-72 Rear Mount Aluminum Tank

I ordered mine after talking to Dave in person yesterday (before his post). Wondered if there was more to it & his explanation made total sense. I wanted as simple of install on my end so I got it all included too.

Thanks for your help, time & such a great deal Dave!!

Guess I should start a build thread one of these days now.

I ordered mine yesterday. I can't wait to get it installed. I hate my foam filled fuel cell. I never know how much fuel I have.
