Great score with the vintage air setup. I will be watching this part close. I just got one last week for my 69.

Re: Chucks SWB Fleetside

Thanks guys. Its going to be nice and cool in the truck. I'd have it no other way. I'm spoiled. I got a high hump from a board member and gave my other one to another member. So now I don't have to do anything but sand it down and shoot it.

Re: Chucks SWB Fleetside

I got the motor from my builder but my hands are beat up from unloading shingles from the trailer after reroofing the house so I won't be turning wrenches on it soon. I'll keep ya'll posted.

Re: Chucks SWB Fleetside

no hop ups done as the budget didn't allow it. I plan to just do some cruising and swap meets in it. no burnouts or drag racing. If the 454 doesn't sell I'll sink some coin in it and drop it in.

Thanks. I called ECE today about the spindles and Stan said they shipped mine Friday. I picked up my made in China motor mounts and tranny mount today too.

Re: Chucks SWB Fleetside

WOW. They had just got the castings in and where doing the '67-'70 drum to disc spindles first. Then they were going to take the equipment down for maintenance, then finally....CNC the '71-'72 castings. So...they couldn't tell me when the '71-'72 drop spindles would be ready.

I gave up, cancelled, and ordered from CPP. They'll be here today.
