Yeah it's something I don't understand, the take taxes out of our checks all year long to give us money back, and we still get taxes taken out of what were supposed to get back, I just don't get it.

So because my roof has some hail damage and its gonna be a pain trying to fix it all, I might do a bed armor treatment to hide some of the dents. I have seen a few trucks with this done. It would be textured and tough. Not sure. This is a budget build so its right up my ally.

I've seen them on a few trucks before its a different look, but it sure is tough and durable!

Hey budget78gmc, we have any updates or anything? Haven't seen or heard from you everything okay?

Everything is great. Truck had to take a back seat for a bit. finances got out of whack for a bit. On a positive note, my daughter has shown interest in the truck. So since it was her grandpas truck we are gonna build it up for her first truck. She is 13. And at this pace we might get it done by then. Missing one piece to complete front end rebuild, then it will be on the road.

So went by a car club members house today and he said he had a few patch panels for my truck he wanted to get rid of. $40.00 got me 2 rockers,2 cab corners,and 2 rear wheel weels, the big ones. $200 worth of parts for $40.00 i think so!!

no rallies yet. Back 15x10's are painted but not on yet. Have not decided on size tires yet. Fronts need blasted and painted still.

Okay, so you used 2.5" spindle, cut 1.5 coils off the springs, and just a flip kit out back...

How did you get it so low with just that?!
I wanna go 6/8 on mine, figuring on a DJM 5" flip then run 2" shackles and a 1" block in the back. Then a 3" spindle and how much cut off the front.

And did you notch it or no?

No c notch. it is sitting on the rear bump stops. It is very low. the exhaust is 1/4 from the ground. But its crappy stock/rigged system.

Sorry for the delay. Truck was pushed aside for a while. Good news is that i'm starting back up. With in a few weeks I should have a new bed for it then its off to the front end

Sweet bro!!! Glad to hear the good news!! Everything occasionally does have to be put to the side at 1 point and time. Glad to hear about the bed i'm trying to get me one this weekend if all goes right! can't wait to see some work done to the truck.

Well guys mother nature dumped 7 inches of snow at the beginning of the week so nothing on the truck. But on a plus note i will have a bed in a few weeks.

And i'm back again. Have a bed for the truck but have to do minor rust repair on it. Bed is off my truck and getting ready to prep the frame for paint. I have decided to make a narrowed flat bed for it for now. I had to take time away from the truck for a while to take care of other home owner duties and work on a few other cars needs for shows. I know I know same sob story
