Wheels and tires are being mounted and balanced now.Wait till you see the 20x12 and 20x10 going on.Then you will see the All new Wilwood huge 6 piston calipers they released as a New Caliper.This truck is going to be one Bad Ass ride.Somebody is going to be one lucky person on who ever wins this truck.

Lots of subtle mods. I bet if I didn't see the work in progress I would of had to study the truck closely to figure out all the changes.

I was surprised to see you guys raised the front fender wheel lips. I figured the rear was being raised to match the front.

You had me,... until you raised the wheelwells.
I love the original lines of these trucks.
Especially tucking a big wheel under them.
Your employees have killer skills,... but I liked the original/winning concept drawing of this truck.

The one thing you need to know is.Goodguys asked for the truck to have a 57 inch roof height to fit into there semi on the top floor.The truck has to be on coil-overs not Bags.They also wanted to run a 20x12 and 20x10 on the truck.
The original drawing of the truck is set up with a 20x10 on the rear and 20x8 on the front.The height on the stock truck was well over 60 inch tall.

This truck has a 4 inch ride height now and the roof is at 56 inches.With a 20x10 front wheel it will turn lock to lock and clear the fender lip and frame.

Most of all Goodguys Loves truck very much and the overall build of this truck they are happier than ever.

With that we are very happy as well

I always enjoy your posts very much and I welcome you to look at the truck when you get to see it in person and let us know what you think of it then.

I Will say it again someone is going to be one lucky person on who ever wins this truck.

Crazy !!! was wondering why the changes in the front arches, thats a big tire to stuff under the front..

Is that exhaust cut out going to be a one off?? thinking of something like that for my Blazer?? Make me a couple??

The exhaust cut out is not going to happen.Pres of Goodguys does not want to see the exhaust at all

For your blazer we can make you some custom S.S tips ?
We can CNC machined you some custom Aluminum tips!!!

Justin,... thanks for the reply.
I'm not sure why Goodguys would even consider a C10 Truck,... for a giveaway vehichle?
It's obvious the specs weren't published when they ask for artists to submit concept drawings to kick off this deal.
I don't really understand the "no-bags" suspension either, since laying a frame flat, would have helped meet the silly "total height loaded in the trailer" rule.
I appreciate you clearing things up,... for people like me,... that obviously don't understand alot. Ha.

Why should the specs be published……its none of your business or mine.
There are a lot of ways to skin a cat in determining the "silly total height loaded in the trailer rule."
I think your post is a bit negative in general. I realize everyone has an opinion and my opinion is your opinions are off base from what I read compared to the truck that is being built via Scott's Hotrods 'N Customs.
Do you owe a hotrod shop? If so, I doubt the Goodguys would have picked you to build a truck with your questionable thought process and design abilities.
You are correct about one thing….."for people like me,… that obviously don't understand a lot. Ha." It's one thing to question the build or the Goodguys intentions but your negative tone and lack of the facts is questionable.

I think you took my remarks WAY too seriously.
I'm a huge C10 fan and a big supporter of Goodguys and this board for about 12 years.
I'm no hot rod shop owner/builder.

My post was about Goodguys wanting a C10 truck with a static suspension and being no taller than 56".
If you saw the original post with the Goodguys organization looking for talented artists to submit concept drawings to a contest,... to pick a winner for their C10 giveaway truck.
This post was presented here on this board,... by member/designer Carter Hickman.
None of the drawings submitted fit a low profile version of these trucks and the one I posted above was the winner.

I normally try to help here on the board.
Sorry my opinion offended you.

I'll also apologize to Justin for hijacking his thread.
I was no way bashing his work,... just wonder why the end results were going in a different direction that the drawing.
