Re: Two is easier then one 1965 GMC S/W/BB build
So we are now doing the assembly and bolting things on for the final time, man does that feel good.
The Moser rear end is now all done. and the suspension is on the chassis |

Looks great. You're about where I am in my build. It's so fun to just bolt on new parts!

It is a very fun part of the build. Planning and preparation pay off quite well. We did get some work done this weekend. |

Greg and I have zero experience with how to do any of this. No one around to recruit or even ask questions so we are just figuring it out.

Re: Two is easier then one 1965 GMC S/W/BB build
So to help (not that we need to be encouraged) visualize my vision of the finished truck I had a rendition of the final truck made. I really wanted to see it in color with it's stance and bright work. Though I'm not a big fan of chrome as Robert will attest, I think she has just enough bling to turn a few heads. Comments are welcome of course.

IMO that is a perfect look. 20 years from now it will still be cool. Truck is turning out very nice.

Greg is killing it
While I fittered away most of the weekend butchering a fuel tank Greg cut the floor out, as well as all the rusted panels that he is replacing. For a guy that has NEVER even cut a single spot weld out, he is amazing. |
