Re: 66 k20
Yeah I have no doubts it will end up nice, the parts you have already painted look great to me. I cant fault you at all for painting it since its yours and needed work, just something about the way it looked before was so cool lol.

Re: 66 k20
Couple more. Took the mrs to her class reunion the other night. Needless to say I passed on the Jell-O shots.
I’m now about at the point where I need to do something with the cab corners which means removing the bed. Not looking forward to that |

Man that thing is looking nice! Years ago if you saw one of these 4x4's in green there was a good chance it would say park ranger on the side of it lol.

No, I haven’t done that yet. Inner fenders and rad support are on next years schedule.

Re: 66 k20
I'm liking everything about it.
The green fits it perfectly. I searched your thread, what paint are you using?

Re: 66 k20
Finally got around to swapping differentials. Mine had at least a full 1/4 turn of slop. Man these things are heavy. I picked up another 4.56 last year. What a difference. Feels like I am actually have some power now.

Re: 66 k20
And now for a fairly substantial change. Picked up some 16x6.5 steel wheels from marketplace. Sand, scuff, prime and painted with nothing but the best, VanSickle.

Re: 66 k20
That’s probably close to the overall diameter it would have had new, but if I had it to do over I would have gone with 9.00-16s. I’m not unhappy with this look at all though. Can’t decide what to do about hubcaps. I know these are 70s or 80s but they are what I had, and nothing would be “correct”
