Chad, I did get it, its very beuatiful, i buffed the black around the knob and repainted,then I just cleaned up the back brass part for the actual lighter. Then I took apart the whole light peice and hooked up a wire to the very very very small electrical end, put a new bulb in and hooked it all up to the fuse box and it didnt work, this was around 2 or 3 weeks ago. just yesterday I pluged it into a random spot on the fuse box and I later on messed with the lights and it came on !I was supeerrr happy and pleased with it, thanks again chad!!!


Well guys my truck is going to debut on tonights " unsolved electrical mystery's" LOL, my right turn signals wont blink. when i turn my left turn signals on it wont blink, but the lights are on, this is with the lights switched pulled half out. the funny thing is my radio and radio light and speaker turn on only if my left turn signal is on. in order to get my left turn signal to blink outside, i have to turn my wiper switch to the 1st speed or 2nd speed. now may i ask what the "h" "e" double hockey sticks happened!!!!!!!!!! i just plugged every thing in correctly and its doing this....

i ACCIDENTALY bumped(turned the engine over)! so looks like the wiring is done.... now if i just had exhaust and a full gas tank or just enough gas to start.

bought a 1964 or 65 ( i believe its 64 since it says GM 4 on it) 327 intake, with oil fill tube and oil fill tube cap. so going to shove her in the solveant tank tommorrow and clean the cap, gonna install the cap on my truck, put the tube in a plastic baggy and keep it in my "extra" parts box, which has extra 67 dash knobs and other 67 year correct stuff. and then the intake will get cleaned painted and ready to sell.

also got the spot from john today THANKS BUDDY! and took the housings retaining rings and badges and figured out which of the 6 parts are best. got the best ones and reinstalled and it looks much much better!! now just some small dings to repair and rechrome then a brand new badge and we're good!

today i cleaned the intake in the solveant tank, and the oil cap. I CLR'd the oil cap and put black "oil"letters on it.

Next up for progress i got; charcoal canister (A/C), i got the 4 most needed A/C brackets, the water pump and crank pullies for A/C, 67 68 grille trim hoop aluminum chrome, 2 6.5 foot wood bed wood slats( so i can cut the ends off and make them into the 4 short ones), original red and green cigarette lighter and light wire(s), center A/C vent (nice shape for an original), cruise contol turn signal switch, and i think lol last but not least i got my 5 lug GM 71 stamped steele rims. which were nice painted black already! also the spare has a firestone tire from 1973! pics will come tommorow gonna talk to 1972hays tonight see if he cant send me some pics of the A/C brackets so i can show you guys a before and after on them.
