Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Trucks
Looks like you have your work cut out for you, but SWB 4x4's are getting harder to fine, so its worth saving. Gap between cab and box looks real right up top on the driver side....id look closely at the rear cab mounts, and at the frame to make sure everything is looking ok

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Trucks
Thanks Myoldmetal,
we are looking forward to the challenge, it's a family project that will involve mostly my dad, father in law, and myself. I',m hoping to completely lift the whole thing off of the frame and start there, it runs as is but the guy just blew the head gasket, my father in law is donating a 350 with just 9,000 orig miles. I appreciate the advise and hope to keep you posted with progress, and look forward to more helpful tips as we go. once again thanks, Gary |

That doesn't look like it needs a restoration at all, very nice truck I can't even see need for touch ups...

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Trucks
All it needs is some wheels and lowering. IMHO

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Trucks
I agree, don't touch it except to clean it, detail the pee out of it.
If you MUST lower it, wheels, etc I'd say only do things that can be undone and I'd store those wheels. That's just me of course. Its yours, do whatever you want but its fantastic already. |

INCREDIBLE fab chops.
Particularly those headers....but I have to admit my immediate thought when I saw them? "Oh, just stop it" |
