Hey Mike, I was lookin' at your cluster pics, and wondering-how did you tie into the dash harness? A plug? Individual wires and eyelets? Also, what did you get the light sockets out of? I was eyeballin' the van marker lights for that. Thanks for any help!

The new cluster harness is wired into the stock truck harness wiring with two connectors. Only because one wasn't enough to feed all the wires.

(Crash_OK gave me these). You could just grab a big male/female connector at your salvage to do the same.






I used a combination of side marker lamp sockets and these are the lamp sockets from late model GM cars. $5 for a handful at pull a part.

No problem Chip, I edited the post, I was corrected about the connectors. I would recommend using some type of connector(s) though, it makes super easy to pull it out.

Thanks Chip. I tried to lay one legger stripe but the dang gears are too high. Soon enough, I'm going to 3:73. The motor is strong but the high gears just aren't gonna work.
