Talking Couple weekend progress pics

Well we wetsanded the entire truck on Saturday morning and prepped to shoot the 4th coat of paint. The 4th coat was shot and we had a bit of a set back. My gun decided to plug and they let go with a burst of air which caused a bit of veavy overspray on the door. The drivers side of the truck along with the hood will need to be shot again. We also POR 15'd the cab floor and rear wall of the cab. But enough rambling, here are the pics

Bad overspray

Bummer on the paint gun farting all over your truck. My body shop teacher in high school was a big fan of laying down as few coats as needed for that reason...every coat is another chance to screw it all up.
I guess there is some truth to his theory huh? Either way, your rig is still lookin sweet.

Dubie, do you have a muncie 4 speed in your truck? If so, what set of holes in the tailshaft housing did you mount your shifter head? The dork building mine (which was supposed to be done 2 weeks ago) is going to put the shifter head furthest forward on the housing. He feels that it's neccessary since it's going in my truck. I just don't want to have my knuckles hitting the dash!

Also, do you have any pics of the shifter handle not installed in the shifter head? I'd like to see which one you're using, also have you installed it with the seat yet to see how it clears everything?

Unfortunately I have a Saginaw 3 speed that we converted from a column shift to the floor. I don't have any pics of the shifter uninstalled either. I did at one time but I don't have it anymore

Sucks about the paint problem. The last coat of clear on my cab also has a problem. Oh well, what is a little more work, right? Glad to see you still progressing right along!
