Third row seat in a 70 blazer--what do you think?

Some of you may think this is crazy, but....
I was thinking about putting a third row fold down seat in my blazer. I would make it removable, maybe something like a fold down and up van or third row Yukon seat. That way I could seat more people in the blazer if I ever need to. The thing is I need something that can seat more than 4 people, but I don't want to part with the blazer and buy a new car/truck that won't be as neat/cool!

Any opinions or suggestions? Anyone ever do this? Pics??? Do you think there is enough room for a third seat if I move the original rear seat up a few inches??

I think it might work if only kids were getting back there. Not a lot of room for a thrid seat. Maybe against the tailgate? If you do it Post pics!

maybe turn it around so it faces backward? we had a station wagon like that....so the two back seats sit back to back...or you could do a bucket type thing with two buckets facing each other, like in the back of older extended cab trucks. the little jump seats

Look at turning them backward and using a bed extender type gate.Knowing your hubby is a good welder he should be able to comeup with a design/linkage that will work.

Maybe I could move the orig rear seat to the 3rd row and then get two buckets for the 2nd row and then have some room to get to the third row between the 2nd row buckets--- ??? hmmmm...
Also I would like to keep the 3rd row facing forward because we are going to be putting in a flip down screen for the DVD player - entertain the kiddies you know!
It will probably cost some money to get the new seat matching the rest!
