I've got a used gear drive for sale out of my 71 350. Make me an offer. Looks like brand new. Only reason I took it out is I didnt like the noise.

The drive only has a few thousand miles on it. It came with the truck when I bought it. I didnt want the whine so I put on a chain drive.

As far as I know it does not require any machine work. There was no machine work done on my motor. I am not sure what brand it is.

I could snap a picture if that would help anybody.

gear drive

I took mine out because of the whine too. If you want attention pulling into the drive-in, this'll do it. If you other guys lose out on this one, PM me on mine.

cam button?

Shouldn't there be a cam button on the cam gear? Usually has a lock plate for the 3 screws also. My Pete Jackson gear drive came with one, to prevent "cam walk".

Dang, I just put a new double roller on my truck and put the cover and harmonic balancer on. Wish I knew it was for sale earlier.
