upper chrome trim only

Could someone post some pics with the upper trim only, and need some opinions on just having the upper trim on and not the bottom trim. The truck will be painted white and is short wheel base, thanks

personally, i think it would look kinda funny...esp on a white truck. (chrome looks better on a dark color IMO)
Hope some one can show a pic or two though, I'd love to be wrong on this.
My SWB GMC was an upper trim only truck, on a dark maroon. I saw pics from the last owner, it looked sharp...still wondering why he had the trim removed and painted red though.

I had seen a orange long wheel base with the upper trim only and it was sharp, but a white truck lowered, no trim, good looking rims is tough to beat. I just hate to loose the extra 15 horsepower that the trim will give me.guess I can put a chrome oil cap on to make up the difference.
