rear sway bar difference?

Sup fellas,
As I am going through the ole 85 c10, I was looking at the bare frame. I was wondering if a rear sway bar makes any difference in the handling of the truck. I am gonna leave it at stock ride height, so the bar and new shocks would be the only changes. Any thoughts on this or suggestions of good shocks? (I like the perf. IAS's but the $ is a bit steep I think)

i could tell a noticable difference when i installed my rear bar. handled a lot better around corners.


i would go with the edelbrock shocks if i were you.

Good quesiton jason. I have been thinking about it too. Where would i find a rear sway bar for my 86. If i add one to the rear, is it worth putting a better one that stock out front.

i think what is recommended is to run a thicker one up front, and a smaller one in the back.

mine are the same size(stock front/hellwig back)

Rear sway bar made a HUGE difference for my truck. I love it!!
