Hey 79Chevy, did you ever find a new driver's side double window switch?

Can't you still buy them from GM? I'm pretty sure that's where mine came from...

My plans are for you to send me your mailing address, for me to find a box, and send it down to you

I figured out how to fix the things, so I actually just repaired it. Its missing one mounting clip on the side, and the bracket that holds it in there, but you can take them off your old ones.

Just so you know, when you let got of the switch where it was wrecked, the switch makes a small arc, but other than that, it works like new (and before I send it to you, I'm gonna try and fix that little problem, the other one I fixed doesn't do that) What happens to the switch is that there are little contact pads inside that fall off, so I just took a peice of raw silver, and squished it in there with some pliers, so suddenly you have a new contact pad that won't melt when the switch gets a bit hot trying to work gummed up and worn out power window motors.

Just PM me your addy, and I'll get it in the mail within the next day or two

Maybe so, but is the exchange rate this much of a difference.

Also, you were talking to a guy in Texas. :p

I know, but it is still cheaper for him if I send it to him free

All parts cost more in Canada, then you gotta dd the exhange rate differences ontop of that, so it comes out to about 89 bucks or so
