The link will work for you since your computer has the cookies that tell the HP site it's you. The rest of us don't have it. Send them to someone and they will resize them for you. Unless you want to let us all know your username and password. Someone here can help, we all like pics.

I haven't posted pics since the board changed. They can be way bigger, and multiple pics, wow.

The truck does not look good. I hope you are able to get it back to A1 shape soon enough.

I made them smaller by opening them in 'paint' then I went to 'image' and then 'stretch/skew'
I dropped the % to 50% and resaved them. Worked great for me.

Well at least their insurance should cover the damage. Sucks though.

Sure, the kid screwed up... but don't you think he's getting gouged at $1292.70? The guy popped off a big chunk of body filler and broke your taillight.

Yeah....$1300? Seems really steep to me. No need to replace a bedside, really no need for welding even. Pull it out with a slide hammer and put on some filler....wouldn't take alot and wouldn't cost much at all. Even with paint i can't see it coming up to that price. Looks like there is already some filler there anyway.

I was the 17 year old kid that screwed up not too long ago (backed into a parked car while driving my mom's truck, paid for it out of my pocket so my insurance woudn't go up ). No sense gouging....

I say let the kid learn a valuable, expensive lesson. Hell, his insurance isn't going to go up and I'm sure that his parents will let him hear about it until he moves out. At least he didn't kill himself or somebody else. I was 17 once too and learned a much harder lesson than that, believe me.
But for $1300 bucks!!! You could buy yourself a whole new bedside for that with extra pocket change to play with.
If you buy yourself a patch panel, side marker, and maybe a new roll pan and some paint you could probably do it yourself for under $300. That is of course if you have the tools and know how to do it yourself.

And let's not get down on 68w/sbc406. He didn't ask to get sideswiped. Think of the trouble he's going to have to go through. If he takes it to a body shop he may not have a ride for 2 weeks or longer. That is what really sucks.
