Steering stabilizer for my 71 K-10?????????
I see most places offer steering stabilizer shocks for the 73-87 4x4's but what about us 67-72 guys? Can you get a kit for them? Thanks.

Budwies: I just got of the phone with the Suspension Connection tech support and he said it will work on my 71. I mentioned that the website says 73-87 and he wasn't sure why. Let me know how that install goes and take some pics if you can. Thanks.

The difference is in the mounting points. All you really need is the kit that is designed for "solid axle" Fords. They have "bolt-on" brackets because the Fords didn't have a factory installed stabilizer.

kickinasphalt,
That's a dual kit that goes in place of the original. It will work just fine for you. I like the dauls on anything bigger than a 35" tire. |
