How much for this 71 Blazer?
I've got a 1971 k-5 Blazer that I am thinking of selling. I'll list everything I can think of that it has and you guys can tell me how much you think it's worth. The truck was restored 8 years ago by previous owner and is still in very good condition. This truck HAS NOT been mudded and torn apart....it just has a lift kit and some bigger tires to make it look a little tougher Thanks for your help!

I do not have any pics of the truck yet. I'm just wondering how much you experienced k-5 guys think it is worth. Feel free to email me with any questions or comments. Thanks so much, Daniel |

If there is really no rust, and the body is in nice condition, maybe 6 - 7 thousand. We would have to see it though. There are a lot of things that could start detracting from that price.

Sounds like it is worth about $9,000 or more. I would of course need to see pics. I paid $5000 for my 70 CST and it needed rust and body work. Mine had a new GM 350 and rebuilt tranny, but yours sounds MUCH better body wise. Here is a pic of what mine looked like when I paid $5000 one year ago.

Sounds about right...
Ya I was thinking about asking $9500 for it and go from there...I wouldnt mind taking a little less for it but I dont think I'd take less than $8500. Thanks and keep the suggestions coming!

It does sound like it is in good shape. Of course, as the saying goes, a picture is worth a thousand words. Try to get some pics.
I paid $4K for mine. I has a little rust in the drivers side floor board, but that's all. It is far from original though. A previous owner swapped out the original 307/3speed/dana20 for a 350/TH350/NP203 combo. It also had the front disc swap, hard top, soft top and new tires. Based on that, I would estimate your rig is in the $7,000-8,500K range. Of course, start high and see where what happens.

Post some pics as soon as you can, you'll get alot more responses. Plus I'd like to see what it looks like with the lift and wheel/tire combo you've got.
Good Luck! |
