u-joints and seals, oh my
A couple questions:
1. The u-joints in my front driveshaft are spicer 1310s(all 3), I can get u-joints w/ a grease fitting in between the trunions($12) or on the end of a bearing cap($16). Which is better? 2. My front output seal is leaking NAPA has it for $12 p/n NOS 17716. Has anybody replaced this part w/ the transfer case on the vehicle? There is no play in the bearing and it turns freely, so I was just going to replace the seal. 3. What's the kit called or what do I ask for, to repair the double cardian parts?

Going to replace the flat bed. 1985 K20, 350/400/208 10 bolt and SF 14 bolt. I wonder where I can find some 1 tons. Hmmmmm |

1. Got them and installed them. (between the trunions style, flush mount type grease fittings)
2. Still going to do before I re-install the driveshaft. 3. Local driveline shop had the part on the shelf. Told him it was for a spicer cv joint w/ 1310s walked to the shelf and put it in my hand.
