HELP, need a nut!

The nut that hold the yoke onto the rearend stripped out taking it off, I can probably file the threads on the post btu need a nut, how many where there? fine thread? I can't tell by looking its really stripped, it seems to be 3/4 inch diameter on the threads.
OR can I use a regular nut with some form of loctite? The nut I took off had no pin, but had small tabs pressed down to keep it in place. No parts store had the nut. THANKS hope do fix this soon!
