Smile Addiction to chevy trucks!

All I seem to think about is that old truck, the old lady thinks that I have left her for it.I like spending more time with it than her lately .If it could only cook me dinner.

Yup I've been there. For about three years while I was restoring it I couldn't think anything else. My wife was very understanding a bought me lots of parts and stuff for my addiction. Brithdays and Hoildays was always some cool truck parts.

I find it kinda funny that during my first complete resto on a 71 K5 I got nothing but sh** from my wife. When it was done, it was the only vehicle she wanted to drive. Later on when we got divorced she put in the papers that it was hers.

I don't really know what happened to me....about a year and a 1/2 ago??? I was happily driving a brand spanking new 02' Loaded Chevy Z-71 extra cab with heated leather seats and everyother option that is available. Then one day I wandered to this web site (Thanks Josh!) and decided I really love the look of these 67-72 trucks. Further thought...I could sell the 02' and buy one outright...and have no payment...and have a truck that atleast holds it's value. Oh boy, did I not know how much I would fall in love with these trucks. I now own a 72' SWB K-10 and a 71' SWB C-10. I can't wait to spend more and more money on them. When it's all said and done both the K-10 and the C-10 will be show winners and I will eat it up til the cows come home! I plan on driving the K-10 in the winters and the C-10 in the summers. My C-10 has just been painted Torch Red and is approaching drive time. I may wait til next spring to take the K-10 apart. Yes..I'm nuts about these trucks!!! Great topic...as probably everyone has some sort of story...I'm just not quite sure why this happened to me???
