Truck Of The Month Nominations JUNE 04
OK ya'll, we are going to try and start up the
Truck of the month again. Being there were requests on the last thread for blazer of the month, we will start with daily driven blazers. Nominations will run for a week, or until 6 trucks have been nominated. Then a voting poll will be set up and run for a week. We will work out the time frames as we go forward. We just want to see this start up again now. You can either nominate yourself, or nominate someone else. Either way is acceptable, only one nomination per person. If the person being nominated would prefer NOT to be considered please PM me and let me know before the voting begins. Please do not chit chat and argue in the threads, it clutters them up and they will be deleted. If you post a nomination please post a picture with it at that time. After all the nominations are in, the nominees will be asked to supply standard specs and information about the trucks. That will be included on the voting thread. |

I wanted to nominate 70 Blazin's to , but I figured we would only be allowed to nominate 1 members truck. It was a hard decision, but I have always thought your Bouncytruck was one of my favorites from the board

Guess I'd have to second or third that nomination for 1970Blazin (Diane & Ken). Seems like it should be important to consider overall participation and contribution to the board and those folks really help to keep me stoked!

We really are done!
Thanks Bouncytruck!
This is my daily driver (for now)- takes the kids to preschool and all! Only thing left to do is door panels and power brake booster....also need to finish the cargo panels. It drives great! My thigh screams a little when I brake, but hopefully it will be better soon! We have a 4 shoulder belts attached to the custom roll bar my hubby built. The kids LOVE the DVD player w/ 10" flip down flat screen and remote headsets on the roll bar. We can blast the music while they watch SHREK! Ha Ha! My 5 year old thinks the blazer is the fastest thing on the road! Has power windows, new GM crate 350 and rebuilt tranny, replaced almost all the body panels...new repro tailgate, original truck doors, repro fenders. Gave it a good tune up w/ 8mm wires and she runs beautifully!!! Here are some better pics.... 1st pic is the before shot- whew lots of work since then- a little over a year ago. Thanks Jason for the nomination!
Maybe the next time the truck of the month is a blazer I can nominate yours if you have it finished...maybe one of the trucks of the month can be for a work in progress vehicle?????

I actually had planned on doing work in progress next month. Project trucks deserve as much recognition as the completed ones IMO. I'm glad to see someone else come up with it also So do we have one more or are we going with 5 ? Thanks ya'll

To keep it fair it's only one entry per person. If more than one truck owned by the same person is nominated, the owner of the truck can choose which one he wants to be up the truck of the month
