Need header help!

I just got a set of Dynomax headers from Jegs. Whent to bolt them up, no fit.

The drivers side is hitting the upper control arm.
The pass side is hitting the motor mount where it bolts to the frame. The pass side is about 1 inch from bolting up.

Anyone have this problem before?
Can you recoment a set of headers that will bolt up?

BTW-This is a 72 Chevy shortbed pickup, with a 350motor and 350 tranny.

Thanks,
Nick

From what I've heard Hookers are one of the better ones. I've got a set of Blackjack's and like em fine, I've had no probs with them, the collectors sit lower compared to the shorties or some of the other headers out there (they would not work on a slammed truck). I would send them back and look for different ones instead of doing motormount changes (unless you had to change em) Are they (Jegs) sure they sent you the ones you ordered (correct part #). I wonder if they might be for a smallblock Camero or El Camino...... Later Doug
