Quick Frame Question
will a 73-87 shortbed frame work underneath my 71 body?

Only if you change the body mount's around everything that is on the newer frame will bolt bolt onto the early frame includeing the whole front crossmember...

Talk to Mudder67 he has done this, but it only looks good on a 4x4 because a slight body lift is needed due to differences in the frame if I remember correctly.
