Post KIND OF STUCK ON WHAT MOVE TO MAKE!!

I finally got some time off to work on my truck, my drive shaft fell out of it last week. I took it down to a drive shaft shop, the back half of the drive shaft is shot. The guy quoated me a $ 100.00 to make it right. But he said I need to find a yoke for the front piece of shaft, so I need a yoke, the one that you have to take off to get the carrier bearing off. Mine is in real bad shape. And I can not find one in any of the yards around here. He wants an extra $100.00 if he has to come up with one. Wondering if any one has one laying around?
My deal is, I do not want to sink a lot of money into this drive shaft, due to I am going to change it out in about 6 months, I am going to go with a one piece shaft, so what my plans are is to get my 383 built, I have a 700R4, but I am not ready to put it in untill I get the new motor ready to go in, this way I can go in with every thing at one time. So my options right now is to either put the 700R4, ( Which I don't want to do right now ) or come up with the yoke I need. Can some one help me out here, I am willing to pay some money, just can't find one locally.

This is for a 1/2 ton chevy truck 72 model, long wheel base 2 wheel drive, the yoke that you have to pull off in order to get the carrier bearing off, it hold the middle u joint in place, has the splines on the inside of it, fits over the back of the front part of the drive shaft. I hope this helps

I thought I found a drive shaft, but it didn't work out. I did get to meet one of the board members though, and I just want to say thanks again Russell for going out your way to try and help me out. I will have to repay you one day, just remember what I told you the other night, we are going to have to get together one weekend with some juking sauce and kick it around! So any way guys I am back to square one, truck still sitting in drive way, I want to go on ahead with a whole nother drive shaft. 72 LWB chevy 1/2 ton, v8 is sitting in v8 position, th 350 with short tail shaft, need an orginal lenght shaft!
