That would be '55 or '56...the '57 had one hump for the instrument cluster. Are you looking for the whole dash or what?

I am using the dash out of a 59-60 chevy. The width's are equal, will require shortening the dash (from front to where it meets the windshield, if you understand what I am saying) Looks great, gauges are easily replaced with aftermarket 2 1/16th" ones. If I can ever get my wife to stop giving me projects to do around the house, maybe I will be able to finish it. We sold our old house in March, closed on our new house in May and since then I have added a deck and now am starting on a balcony. Here's the good news, when the balcony is done, I start on the 40' x 28' garage.
So hopefully this fall/winter the 5 year project will be completed.

That shouldn't be too hard to find. Any '55 or '56 passenger car will work. Wagons, 4 doors, etc. Just find one in wrecking yard and cut it out. (please don't cut one out of a restorable car though). If you can't find one, let me know what you want to spend on one and I am sure I could help you out.

ok, I found you a dash. All metal, no trim, no holes cut in it (ie; aftermarket radio etc). They will be cutting it out of a car bigger than the dash actually is. Then when you get it, you could trim it down or whatnot. You'd be looking at about $150 for the dash. Let me know if you're interested.

I could take pictures of the outside of the dash but I would not be able to take pictures of the back side of it until it was out of the car and they would cut it out only after it was paid for. It is currently in a car. I found one by calling around. The closest one I found is about 40 miles from here. I have no problem going and looking at this for you but if I went out there to get pictures for you, came back and sent them to you, and then had to go back out there to get it (if you were interested) it would be nice if I could get a little bit of $$ from you for myself (cause I'm sure you know what kind of gas mileage our trucks get). If you trusted me on this as far as me saying "hey, this is a nice dash" and I only had to go out there once, I would do it out of the goodness of my heart and free of charge. But then of course, I would need the money before a torch was ever fired up. I really don't have any need for a '55 or '56 chevy dash, especially one I have to pay for As far as the shipping goes, you're probably going to be in the $40-$50 range. Let me know if you're still interested. I could go and get it as soon as next weekend.
