Here we go again.....

I just bought my blazer last summer and towed it down to Northern Cal from Washington. Was making good progress until my second child was born in November and wasn't able to do much except strip more pieces off it. Now I'm moving to Washington and have to tow it back up. It will be a lot lighter goin back than it did coming down. However, with all the before and after pics I am really excited to get started again. I'll have a larger garage and will take the body off the frame. I know with 1970blazin and bouncy truck up in Washington I will have plenty of motivation

You will definitely put the larger garage to good use. Good luck getting her back together when that time comes.

Where are you moving to? I know how progress slows/stops when the baby arrives. That's one of the main reasons I bought the '72 - I doesn't need much. I just didn't have time to work on the '69 like I wanted to.

Onpman!!!! Good to hear from you! I know how the baby thing can get...mine are 3 and 5 now, but when they were just babies I could have NEVER gotten time to work on the blazer, (or my hubby couldn't )
Maybe we can all meet at a car show. Tenino WA (a small town near Olympia) has it's 3rd annual Show and Shine this year on Sunday August 22nd. I am going to try to have the blazer ready...only $10.00 to enter your ride! It was lots of fun last year- maybe we can all meet up?
I still have lots of extra parts if you need anything- we are pretty much "done" with our blazer and we sold the 72 blazer Ken was going to restore- decieded to take a brake on the restoration stuff. Glad to see your moving back this way. Was your Dad mad that he just brought all that stuff down to you, or is he just glad to have you move up this way?

We just got moved in last night....what a trip. Towed the blazer and had both kids, my wife's niece and two dogs! We moved to Yakima....seems like most of the blazer folks are on the rainy side Diane, my dad came down two weeks before and picked up all the disassembled pieces and I basically just towed the shell with the top on. Talk about squirrely, with no engine or hood or fenders the thing was light on the tongue and all over the road at any speed above 50. I would love to make it for the show n' shine....although I don't think I'll be entering my rig anytime soon!
