Angry OT: Need help on Astro

I don't like to ask alot of these typs of things on here but I'm getting desparate. I have a 88 Astro Van that worked great up until 3 months ago when it would all of the suddn go into a high idle when in the park position and then stall on the road.....it started to lose power and stall all of the time and finally it wouldn't start back up one day. So I started to pull things off to take a look at what it could be. Turns out, I didn't see any gas coming out of the injectors on the cranking. So I replaced the fielfilter.....the old one was a little bad but I had seen worse.....still no fuel.....I can hear humming coming from the fuel pump so I know it's working.....or is it?.....also......when changing out the fuel filter, it leaked fuel on the flow side(bottom) and none on the top.

check the Throttle Position Sensor. if it is stuck at or near thr wide open range the ecm goes into "clear flood" mode & shuts off injectors. that sticking can also cause the other problems you stated. the older non OBDII systems didnt set the check engine light like the newer ones do. I can go further in depth with this if you want.

BTW it is on the pass side of throttle body under the EGR solenoid bracket. will need a T20 bit to replace. new one may be adjustable. I will check for specs on that in the mean time
