WANTED: 71 4x4 rear axle steel brake lines!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In the process of swapping axles from my 71 into my 72, we pretty must destroyed the rear axle hard lines on the 71. I took the hard lines off the 72 to use but I need ones for the 71 now. Anyone have any???

if you go to napa, they sell the stuff you need, for about 6 bucks a side. all you need to do is bring in your old fittings, and match it up. you will end up needing an adapter because if i recall correctly, the fitting going into the hub is smaller then the one going into the little junction box on the axle housing.
your other option is to order from inline tube, they are pretty reasonable.

Have you had any luck locating s some brake lines ? Where does your brake line meet on the rear end ? Jose

Gee almost forgot about needed these break lines. When I swapped axles, each were just a little different. The one thats in the 72 now had a bracket attached to the diff cover on the upper right side. This is the setup that was off that pickup orginally. The axle that came out of there (now in the 71 that needs lines) had some sort of bracket on the passenger side tube that was kind of welded to the frame. I guess really any setup will work. If someone has an axle laying around with lines and would take a pic that would be great (then I could tell if it would work). Thanks.
