bucket seat info?
a question for ya. i know the bucket seats were different as far as patterns for different years, but are the frames themselves the same? i'm looking for a set for my 68. also how about the consoles? and i read some threads about bucket seat floors. is there bracing underneath different? or is it just the threaded straps underneath spotwelded to the frame for the bolts to secure through. thanks for any info. this website has tought me alot and gave me some great ideas. hats off to you all!!!!

67-68 frame are unto themselves.
As for the brackets, pretty much there are some c channels with nuts welded to it underneath the floor. As for console... in 67-68 their part of the seat frame structure with square compartment. 69 to 72 consoles have seat belt holder and not cup holders in the console top section. 69-72 buckets use independent brackets... the drivers side can slide forward and back on rails while the passenger side is on fixed brackets and dosent move on truck buckets. That style uses the independent console with seat belt holders.
