factory DISC's

Hey guys!
I was just wondering if someone could tell me, in 1968 did Chevrolet have an option for front disc's?? first year to have disc option?

67-72's didn't have factory discs as an option till 71 I'm pretty sure. I know for sure they were standard in 72.

ohh ok,hmmm just asking cause theres a chevy guy in town, he has 2 swb,lwb and a k/5. He's built 20 of these trucks over the years so hes pretty knowledgable with these trucks. He was saying his 1968 has the front disc option that they offered. Just wanted to check and see if anyone else has heard about this

Yup, 71 was the 1st yr on discs.....standard equip, i dont recall any drum brakes at all 71 on. crazyL

Offered drums only thru 70, 71-72 disc only as far as I can tell.
