Great Day!! Junk Yard + $10 = tow hooks
What an afternoon. Spent 30 minutes at the junk yard. Found a 71 Suburban with original tow hooks. Asked the guy what he wanted - $10!!! I always wanted a pair of these for my truck but didn't want to give the $200 or so for a pair. Wish everyday was like this! Shawn

where was this yard? Barneys, Arndts, Oakleaf, Nordstroms? or was it the guy near Arlignton? Cals Auto Salovage south of town?
for the rest of you not in our area, we are surrounded by recyclers. kind of like a used parts mecca.

Where are the tow hooks located and what do they look like?

I assume you are asking where on the truck. There are front and rear tow hooks. Both sets are fairly rare, if you do a search on the board you can find some pics. They are bolted to the frame.

If I remember right it was 15/16, and the top bolts on both were cake but the bottoms were a pain. We used a breaker bar and a heavy foot
