Engine swap
I am planning on swapping out a 4.3 V-6 engine in a swb silverado for a 396 in the future, and want to know what mods I will have to make in order to make this motor fit. Will the stock radiator keep this motor cool, or will I have to upgrade? Any information about this swap will help. Thanks

What year truck?????????
The stock radiators for V6 trucks are super small, you will need to put in a V8 Radiator.

Yep, especially in a 91. even the V8 radiator is fairly small. I would put in a 95-98 5.7L raditor and shroud to get better cooling. The 5.0L radiator is about the same size as a 88-94 5.7L radiator. Confused yet??
