Judging interest: 68 swb 4x4, pics added!

If I have to, I'll let this project go. 1968 K10 short wheel base fleetside. Just over 1400 produced so relatively rare. Chassis has been restored from the bare frame. New spring bushings and cab mounts. Front and rear diffs are out of a 85 blazer so larger rear brakes and discs up front. SS braided brake lines up front.

350 4spd. Motor is 30 over and has "X" casting heads rebuilt with a 3 angle valve job. Edelbrock intake and carb. HEI. Transmission rebuilt and in excellent shape. New 12" Luke clutch. Original Rockwell T221 in excellent condition. New u-joints on the shafts.

Brand new 3" single exhaust, aluminized with a fully welded muffler.

Body is very straight but the cab needs rust repair. Front clip and grill is nice. Bed is straight but has a ding on the rear of the passenger side wheel opening and minor rust in the rear corners of the bed floor.

Factory 67-68 bucket seats (not original to the truck). Original red dash pad and visors are in perfect condition. Uncut dash.

This project stalled out on me and I loosely assembled the truck back together to consolidate the parts. It is not in running condition at this time and will need to be trailered away.

This truck is my baby and I'd hate to see it go down the road but if there is enough interest, I'll let it go.

Well over $5K invested, I'd take $4500 obo for it.

Could possibly work out a better deal if the buckets are not needed. I have no plans to part it out at this time but that could change if I get desperate for cash.

Note: Sorry about the bad angles on the pictures. The truck is currently trapped behind another truck and inbetween the house and the fence! Oh, it's also stuck behind two suburbans! Bring cash and I'll be happy to drag it out.

Yes it is a true '68 SWB 4X4 fleetside. The truck was all original when I bought it back in 2000. Originally equiped with a 307 but the owner told me it threw a rod. I also have a 1968 large journal steel crank 327 builder motor that I'd let go with it if someone is interested.

Forgot to mention that it has a brand new power steering gear!

Randy, I think you might need this truck!

As for the rust, I don't have pics right now but I'll describe it. The floor pans are solid. Will need rockers and backers, corners, and rear supports. Both rockers have been cut out. That's the major stuff. As mentioned, a spot on the bed floor in each of the rear corners.

I'll try to get some more pics of the cab tonight if it stops raining.

Let me know. I'll roll her out and clean her up!

Here are some pics of the problem areas in the cab. Some good, some bad.

Only two! Come on now, you at least need 3 to be legitimate! Just kidding!

Randy, here are some more pics of the dent on the passenger side. Also a pic of a ding on the nose of the hood (stupid wind!), and a pic of the driver bedside.
