Pro Comp lifts?
I know most like the TC lifts. But I found a 6" Pro comp at Suspension Discounters for $566 w/ rear springs, w/shocks, $59.95 for the steering arm, $50 for shipping. Seems like a great deal. Are Pro Comps better than Tough Country?

I have never had one or know anyone that has. I do know that Pro Comp is a well known name and has good products. I also believe that Tuff country has been selling lifts longer than Pro Comp. Not much help here.

As stated in many threads prior to this one the best lift for our era trucks and SUV's are definatley Tuff or BDS they have the best spring rating on the market. Pro comp make some great lifts but none of them are leaf sprung. I've done one wrangler lift with pro comp leaves and it flexed like sh!t and had no articulation at all. I've done over 20 Tuff country lifts on chevy's jeeps and even a couple furds and I definately suggest their products and their customer service is second to none.

on CK5, they're referred to as Pro Crap... and they are referred to as such for a reason. i have a set of TC EZ Ride springs ill make you a deal on, then use a 2wd rear spring front hanger in the place of your rear spring rear hanger, add a 2" longer shackle and not only will you have it done cheaper, but it will ride and flex alot better.

Cool I think I'll go with Tuff country -received the check in the mail I've been waiting for. Wanting to place order tomorrow. It was a bummer getting rear-ended in the suburban but the insurance money was nice. $3000 . Now I know why insurance is so high - I could see how someone with a cheesy lawyer could get a whole lot more. If I ever get hit in the Blazer it'll be all rubber

Have you looked in JC whitney catalog? They sell tuff country now.

I kept the drivetrain. Body/bad and chassis are gone. 1981 K30, 350/465/205 dana 60 and dually 14 bolt. Has a G80, and a flat bed. Going to replace the flat bed. 1985 K20, 350/400/208 10 bolt and SF 14 bolt. I wonder where I can find some 1 tons. Hmmmmm
